Ref. No. BFW Texturized basalt fiber fabric is woven from continuous basalt yarns which is texturized or volumized from basalt roving yarn by high pressure air. It can be woven into plain or satin weave and coated with harmless substance. It is the most ideal material for making fireproof suits and fireproof curtains. Because texturized basalt fiber has advantages of non-combustibility, high temperature resistance no emission of toxic gas, thermal insulation, high strength, and non thermal shrinkage, it is a strong competitor to Kevlar, Nomex and Teflon.
